In two short weeks, we will see the end of Quarter 3. Can you believe it? I know I can't. What I'd like to see next is for us to take leave of our comfort zones and do something that will challenge us to be more than we are. Let's use this post to brainstorm. I’ve read that in the original German [Kafka’s language], the word for what Gregor metamorphosed into is ungeziefer, which roughly means “’an unclean animal not suited for sacrifice.’”

---which brings up the whole idea of sacrifice. What does it mean to sacrifice? To be sacrificed? In what ways is Gregor sacrificed? And by whom?
